ASSISTANT YACHT MANAGER – JOBS APP #1715
POSITION: Need a ASSISTANT YACHT MANAGER for Fort Lauderdale based yacht management company. This is LAND-BASED, full time position with benefits/PTO/healthcare. Candidates MUST have experience working on yachts and hold a 100T. Must also be willing to both work 30% of the time in an office setting, while 70%of time is spent traveling around Fort Lauderdale where boat assistance is needed. Looking for someone who can work quickly, prioritize tasks, and stay organized. This is NOT a boat detailing job. The company manages a fleet of approx 170 vessels that range in size from 40′ to 150′. This position focuses on 40′-80′ range. Assistant is responsible for making sure charter/private use boats are ready for owner use. Candidates MUST know: boat systems, some engineering, how shore power works, AC systems, water tanks, and be able to report a problem. NOTE, this management company has service experts in place detailing, electrical, divers etc. MUST HAVE COMPUTER SKILLS TO APPLY, Quickbooks and Excel are used frequently.
LOCATION: Fort Lauderdale area
REQUIREMENTS: 100T min, US Passport/Green Card, STCW, ENG1, non smoker, healthy and a clean background check. Tattoos may be acceptable, please advise if you have any visible tattoos.
